This 2,5-day workshop gives producers, executive producers, production managers and postproduction managers the methods and tools to
- be acquainted with three workflows available on the European market.
- best position the production of their feature or documentary films within the digital workflow.
- grasp the means of communication and tasks division between the partners involved, from the director to the postproduction provider.
- understand the advantages and disadvantages of digital distribution.
Using case studies, the Workshop analyses the three best digital production and postproduction workflows related to three “standard” film budgets: 200,000 to 1 mio € / around 2 mio € / around 5 mio €.
Application deadline: 4 October 2010
Fee: 400 Euro, including accommodation and meals. Travel to Potsdam not included.
