Twelve for the Future is a two-part project driven co-production workshop for young Nordic documentary producers and directors. The workshop aims at developing projects for international co-production and connecting Nordic talents and relevant financiers. Guided by experienced tutors and working in small groups, the workshop creates an informal atmosphere of knowledge and mutual inspiration, leading to encouraging discussions and feedback.
The workshop is focusing on - project development - networking - presentation techniques - financing opportunities
Twelve for the Future is divided in 2 parts The 1st part takes place on September 15-18, 2009 in Marielyst, Denmark and focuses on the development of the participants' projects. Meeting point for this session will be in Copenhagen. From there EDN will organise transport to the workshop venue.
The 2nd part takes place in January 2010 in Helsinki, Finland in conjunction with the DocPoint Festival. Here the participants finalise their presentations and have individual meetings with financers from Nordic TV channels and Film Institutes.
