Greenhouse a prestigious international development project for documentary filmmakers established a new contemporary development program for documentary filmmakers from Europe and the Mediterranean.

Greenhouse offers its participants the opportunity to work intensively throughout a one-year program and develop projects which will deal with one of the most crucial topics of our times – Racism & Human Rights.

The selected filmmakers will be invited to participate in three seminars during which they will work on the development of the script until a comprehensive production file is completed including a trailer. The final proposals and trailers will be presented in a Pitching Forum Event in front of leading forces of the international film industry.

Deadline for submissions: February 2nd, 2010

Target Group

Documentary filmmakers from all the European countries and the MEDIA countries ((Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey))

Conditions

Documentary proposals at any stages of development including initial footage. The seminars, workshops and tutorial sessions will be held in English, so the participants must have basic knowledge in this language.

Participation fee

NONE – The selected filmmakers will be awarded a grant covering tuition fees, a round trip plane ticket, accommodation and meals during the seminars.
