Carlo Pisani is a traveling film director. He is born in Italy in 1978. He’s raised in Mozambique, Italy, Tanzania and England. He shoots documentaries for NGOs in Angola, Tanzania and Ethiopia and in 2004 enrolls in the Italian National Film School. There he directs four short films, "Cell Mate", “Consuelo” (62nd Venice Film Festival), “Tomorrow”, “The Rival” and graduates in 2007. The same year he wins the Premio Solinas (most important screenwriter contest in Italy). For the next two years he lives in Berlin where he works as an editor (“Strictly Bolshoi” winner of an International Emmy Award). Currently he lives in Zurich and has just completed “LoveTrips” his first feature documentary.
