About
Filmmaker, Life Coach, Yoga Teacher:
I graduated with a BAHons from St. Martins College in Fine Art: Film&Video 1999.
I acted on a German Soap Opera "Lindenstrasse" with a re-occuring role between 1996-2009.
I began writing for NIGHT Magazine in 2000 and have continued contributing stories/diaries/poetry since.
I setup Little Wonder Productions in 2000 and curated/hosted monthly video-art, short film and music video nights at The Great Eastern Hotel, London (now Andaz) as well as the large scale multi-media events Electric Stew which took over the entire hotel.
I went on to write, produce and direct several short films and music videos.
I made a documentary over 2 years from 2001-2003 from script to premier going behind-the-scenes on Sundance hit film "Bollywood Queen". Clips of it were released as a bonus feature on the dvd and it has been screened cinematically and at film schools. I was also the personal assistant to the film's writer/director/producer Jeremy Wooding.
In 2003, I started creating performance-art, music and visuals for nightclubs and art galleries in collaboration with many creatives known collectively as Kitsch Palace.
In 2004 I made a feature length documentary about the U.K's best B-girls in the buildup to the first worldwide B-Girl Championships in Berlin. I was then commissioned to create a viral breakdancing promo starring the B-Girls for Nike in 2004 and a short documentary on B-Boys for Playstation in 2006.
I was commissioned to create a performance piece and music with Kitsch Palace, for the launch of the global arts project "The Ship of Tolerance" at The Venice Biennale in 2007. I then began making videos about Air Guitar and Vogueing subcultures, where I also participated in the underground battles/events; wanting to make some personal experiential videos rather then observational ones.
In 2008 I was selected to live as an Artist in Residence at The Gershwin Hotel, NYC hosting events, filming interviews and hotel life for their internal tv channel.
In 2008 I completed training as a yoga teacher at The Prana Yoga College.
I acted in and co-produced two "Cinema Veritee" feature films in NYC, blurring the boundaries of documentary and fiction "Gigi @ The Gershwin" by Anton Perich and "Trooper" by Christopher Martini. In 2010 I started making a series of videos visiting artists at work in their studios, some of which can be seen on my youtube channels and also online magazines Horst&Edeltraut and Viveteria. I also made a series of videos in collaboration with fashion designers Mei Hui Liu:Victim Fashion Street and Philip Colbert:The Rodnik Band.
In 2010 I setup Kitsch Palace Records and released an original album "Kitsch Palace : Tales From the Wonderground" and in 2011 a charity single for The Environmental Justice Foundation "Cod Save The Sea" by The Rodnik Band.
In 2011 I completed training as a Life Coach with The Visionary Leadership Corporation.
The evolution of digital technology and online platforms has empowered me to collaborate with talented people around the world and to continue shooting and cutting videos independently.
I have been researching and developing a few long format documentaries and concepts for television and the internet. I would love the opportunity to make a long format documentary or series with funding and a guaranteed broadcast platform.
