inselfilm produktion was founded in 2001 with the aim to produce ambitious, innovative documentaries and fiction films outside of the mainstream. inselfilm has so far produced several successful films, including FLIEGENDE RATTEN, fictional feature by David Jazay (International Filmfestival Munich 2006), JUAN Y MEDIO, documentary by Constanze Witt (co-production Germany/Chile) and HONIGKUSS, shortfilm by Katja Zanger (several short film awards). The founding members of Inselfilm are experienced producers within German national television (e.g. THE WAY OF THE SUMO RINGER 45min for KiKa; HIGHTECH IN ASIA, 4x30 min for 3sat). Continuing inselfilm’s experience with successful international co-productions, they are keen to work with a broad range of partners.
