About
It is all about those special fleeting moments. Roaming the streets or sitting in the subway, I've always loved watching people, their gestures and body language, their wordless gazes. The stories of others touch me because they often mirror my own frame of mind.
I was born in Dresden in 1987. I started my first video experiments at an early age and got insight into several film production companies in Beijing, Munich and Berlin. Behind the camera I simply lose my sense of time and almost reach the limits of madness. I'm experienced in all aspects of film production, especially project development, camera work, research, production assistance, street casting and editing.
Since autumn 2008, I've been studying documentary film at the University of Television and Film Munich. In 2009 I received a honroable mention for „On A Trip Down Memory Lane“ at the kurz.film.spiele Film Festival Konstanz. Among others, it was also screened at DOK Leipzig, Manlleu Film Festival und Bunter Hund Festival Munich.
