I started in 1997 as a location manager, production manager and producer for various commercial film productions. After endless PPM meetings, big budgets and an interesting look behind the commercial-curtain, I decided in 2003 to join ROCKET STUDIOS, a production- and postproduction facility specialized for the needs of the entertainment and music industry. The good smell of raw film stock disappeared quite fast and I begun to appreciate the advantages of a small film crew, flat hierarchies and cost efficient shootings with all types of camera systems. Even if they are consumer products... I extended my knowledge for the postproduction process and started to work also as director and editor for small projects. After one year, I was sent to Berlin to build up a new office for ROCKET STUDIOS. 5 years later, in 2008, with the experience of a fantastic city, inspiring colleagues and my first child to be born, I went back to my hometown Munich. As managing director, I am now responsible for the whole company. My job is to create and produce new and forward-looking projects, just like "Clear Water".
