Southern United States-born filmmaker, Randy M. Salo is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC. His last film, AMERICAN TALE, played in Human Rights Film Festivals around the world receiving praise for it's take on the Muslim experience in a post 9/11 world. The film received a Human Spirit Award from Loews Theater in New York City in 2004.

Randy is completing his first feature length documentary, The Dragons of Jim Green (formerly called, Faces in the Rocks), a personal look at his grandfather, an iconoclastic outsider scientist/artist who believes he discovered an ancient reptilian civilization lost in the geology of central South Carolina.

He is now living in Munich, where he will complete The Dragons of Jim Green and begin developing his next documentary film.

Randy is currently a member of the grip department in IATSE Local 52 in NYC and is also a musician and composer of 16 years.
