Has a passion for unique people outside the mainstream and loves to dig up universal stories in extraordinary lives. Her mini doc ‘Colours of Blood’ [14’] about vampires and other blood-loving creatures premiered at Hot Docs 2009. Smuggled (successfully) investigative short films and feature-length radio documentaries on cults, neo-Nazis, paedophiles and other alleged pillars of society into public service broadcasting such as BBC Panorama, ARD (German equivalent to BBC) and ARTE.

Medical journalism keeps her grounded, and she has just won the Best Video Award at the Vedere La Scienza Festival for her short film ‘The Good Heart Attack’ about a paradoxical medical discovery. Also worked several years as editor-on-duty and teaches research and pre-production for ARD trainees.

Originally from the Bavarian beer & Oktoberfest capital Munich she moved to London three years ago to become a documentary filmmaker and to learn from the best. HOOKED is her first full-length documentary.
