The ENVIROFILM festival is an international environmental occasion held in Slovakia, on which the best environmental film makers from the whole world are yearly awarded. It is a meeting place for film makers, environmentalists, journalists, members of international association of environmental festivals ECOmove International and of course the public in general. Film and video programmes submitted for the Festival should focus on nature and environmental protection, sustainable development, environmental friendly technologies and healthy lifestyles.

The 45th year of the International Festival of Science Documentary Films Academia Film Olomouc (AFO) will take place in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Following the pattern of the former years, AFO will expertly and innovatively map the fields of humanities, social and natural sciences that are in contact with audiovisual media, and thus it will offer an open meeting point for science and art. As the festival is organized by the Palacky University in Olomouc, the audience meets world film professionals and scientific specialists as well as an open and creative student environment.
