As reported earlier, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has nominated “Rabbit a la Berlin”, a film developed by Bartek Konopka, Piotr Rosolowski and Anna Wydra at the Documentary Campus Masterschool, for the 2010 Academy Awards.
Now it's time to keep the fingers crossed, as the ceremony announcing the winners of this year's Oscars will take place on Sunday, 7 March 2010, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
Here is some information about the nominee:
The documentary, a Polish-German coproduction of Anna Wydra MS Films, Telewizja Polska and ma.ja.de Filmproduktion, MDR, RBB in association with ARTE, YLE, Lichtpunt and VPRO, tells the story of the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall through the perspective of the rabbits trapped between the walls as they face entrapment, adjustment, and eventual freedom and all of the other trials of being an ordinary rabbit caught between two conflicting ideologies.
