This year I have been filming for my 2nd documentary, which starts in California, moves to Britain then France. I will shortly be traveling to Italy and onwards. I'm hoping to portray the beautiful cultural differences between countries, generations and social classes and the human comedy that occurs when these differences collide. On a personal level I am also telling my story of being denied access in the San Francisco to see my boyfriend, not allowed a visa because of my American ties and being a too frequent a visitor to the USA, and then finding that we are considering marriage in order to be together. Which is a cultural and generational clash in it's self, as both my boyfriend and I don't believe that marriage should be obligatory in this day and age, but we are coming to turns with the idea.
I am financing this project by performing as I travel, selling my artwork in local markets, which always has amusing reactions from the bystanders, as you will see in the 6 mins video I put together of the London and Paris performances.
