INSIGHT OUT/ HFF Academy - Digital Production In Film & TV
Potsdam-Babelsberg / Germany / http://www.insightout-training.net
INSIGHT OUT is Eurpe's leading training course on digital cinema, broadcasting and workflows for filmmakers since 2005. Critical claimed for its innovation INSIGHT OUT brings together 30 experts and 70 decision makers from all around the world for one week in March to discuss latest trends in aesthetic and technical developments. Academy Award winners like Jim Rygiel (vfx on "Lord of the Rings") or Brian van't Hul ("Coraline") have been experts at INSIGHT OUT.
This year we focus on the tremendous need to change every workflow into an overall filebased process and enable participants to deal with every challenge they encounter during their creative work.
INSIGHT OUT is a truly international symposium on digital cinema, 3D production and broadcasting. It provides in-depth information on every step along an entirely digital production chain, on new digital production tools and workflows. Participants learn from digital cinema and HDTV feature and documentary film productions that are exemplary of current digital best practice. Practical workshops demonstrate different workflow options, from high-end to independent digital cinema and stereo 3D production.

The training programme is designed for decision makers in the film, TV and new media industries, junior executes, DOPs, DITs, journalists, teachers and everyone responsible for combing technical workflows with artistic needs.
